RSS Revolution

Microsoft are going to fully support RSS (Rich Site Summary or Really Simple Syndication) into their next operating software.

If it is Microsoft then it usually means BIG for your business.

If you haven't got it incorporated into your site, you'll know what to do now.

The Fantomaster Of The Opera

If you are feeling rich, and would like to get even richer then you would love Fantomaster.

It is a a group of programs created by Dr Dirk Brockhausen for website cloaking.

That's right, cloaking, the black sheep of the Search Engine Optimization (SEO) family of strategies.

Prices are hefty but it proves to be very successful when implemented.

One good thing to come with the price is their free support for life.

For the decent people out there, cloaking optimizes your website via showing keyword rich webpage to the search engine, but human visitors see an innocent looking normal page.

Yes, it can get you banned but use it wisely and it can turn your site into a cash-cow.

There is even a way where you can get banned but still have your website alive. Read some cloaking forum to learn more.

Happy being bad!

Zabang? Google Name Were Laughed At Too

sponsored post

Earlier on I wrote about Google new service, Base, would be making Ebay nervous.

Now, it's Zabang turn to make Google nervous and planning to topple it from the search engine throne!

Zabang is yet to be launched although it look very promising at this stage.

A few things about this "erupting soon" service are,

  • 2-level affiliate program
  • Earn 10% on level 1 and 5% on level 2 for the LIFE of the customer
  • Created by Mike Glaspie, the mind behind BannersGoMLM.com, BannerCo-op.com, FreeLinksNetwork.com, FreeMarketingInfo.biz, NoBSZone.com, SiteInc.com, NetMarketing2005.com and and several other sites which are easily within the top 1% of all sites visited online
  • Will have a companion site, ZabangMail
  • Zabang is already in the top 1/10 of 1% of all visited sites online according to Alexa
If you want to learn more, register with them and you will be sent an email about this new sensation.

Sliding Onto Your Desktop

I saw this being used to promote Gizmodo blog and thought it to be a cute way in marketing your website.

Slide is in beta stage and what it does is to help you share photos with other people right on their desktop.

The way I see it it'll make your website more sticky and drive repeat visitor to your site.

If you have a great content and paired it up with eye-catching photos, wouldn't that make people curious of what the pictures are all about?

I need to do a survey. Do pictures of website like those in my blog makes you horny curious?

All Your Google Base Are Belong To Us

Google new future service called Google Base was temporarily leaked out a few days ago.

It is touted to be able to give Ebay stone cold virtual sweat.

Some pictures of the website have been circulated on the net and a guy/girl (you never know in this new century) named Dirson had posted it nicely at Flickr.

I would love to write a 187 pages of essay about what Google Base is all about but I think the good people featured in Google News would do a better job.

Pop-Up That Pop-In

sponsored post

This technology have been around for quite some time now but I still see a number of websites using pop-up ad.

A lot of browser now have anti pop-up mechanism built into them thus making such tactics less effective.

Furthermore, if your are marketing online using Pay Per Click(PPC) ads via Google or Overture (and most other PPC search engines) then you got a problem.

Pop-ups are not allowed on the page where you link from your PPC ads on those search engines.

Well, fear not cause a floating DHTML can solve this issue.

Its like a pop-up but it doesn't open in a new browser but instead it is part of the page itself and still clickable.

Now a slight bad news is that floating DHTML can still be killed if Internet Explorer settings are on the highest.

The good news, Microsoft state that most people won't go into that setting because most website will fail to function properly at that level.

You can learn about creating such DHTML for free at Dynamic Drive website.

If you can't be bothered with getting a mild headache, then head on down to Instant Attention to purchase your code and also to see how the floating DHTML actually works (it's the yellow Post-It note like thingy).
